Employment and Professional Collaboration with Care is There

From Elizabeth Swider, our founder and owner:

I’m delighted that you are interested in being employed by or collaborating with Care is There!Care is There Employment

I created Care is There as a way for everyone in the care process to win – the care client themselves, the client’s circle of loved ones, and the care providers.   I always say that if it doesn’t work for everyone, it doesn’t work!

We bring employees and service providers into our care teams in several ways:

  • Employment with Care is There as a Lifestyle Coordinator
  • Employment with Care is There as a specialty service provider
  • Collaboration between Care is There and your licensed, insured agency
  • Referral of companions and nurse’s aides to staffing agencies and private placement agencies

Employment with Care is There as a Lifestyle Coordinator

Care is There Lifestyle Coordinators are the heart of our client service, so we choose them carefully.  We also want to ensure that our client situations are a good fit for your strengths and preferences, and allow ample room for the other commitments in your life.

Lifestyle Coordinator work is part time and occasional and the hours are not regular.  I usually suggest that our Lifestyle Coordinators have no more than two clients at a time so they have time and space to recharge.  We do not provide full time employment. We work in teams - each client has a lead Lifestyle Coordinator and a secondary - so our clients are served by people they know well and so our employees have the support to be attentive to our clients and to their own life commitments.

Employment with Care is There as a Specialty Service Provider

Our Lifestyle Coordinators are always on the lookout for specialty services that will benefit our clients.  If you provide such a service, Care is There may be interested in hiring you - depending on licensing and insurance questions, client care philosophy, etc.  If you would like to discuss your service, contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Collaboration between Care is There and your Licensed, Insured Agency or Company

As care coordinators, our Lifestyle Coordinators often bring other organizations into the care circle with our clients.  We require you to have the proper licenses and insurance, to share our client service philosophy, and to be in frequent communication with the Care is There Lifestyle Coordinator serving the client.  If you would like to discuss a client service collaboration, contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Referral of Companions and Nurse’s Aides to Staffing Agencies and Private Placement Agencies

Care is There does not hire companions or nurses aides directly – we bring them into our care team through agencies or private placement companies.  If you are interested in working for a companion or nurse’s aide staffing agency, see our “Links and Contacts” page for the contact information for those agencies.  If you would like to be placed privately as a companion, contact our companion placement partner - Quality Caregiver Placement - by clicking here.
